There is always the urge to find a new surfing spot no matter if we have recently joined a surf camp or we are a seasoned surfer. There are various surfs that we would like to try. Those that we want to try because of the wind pattern, those that we would try because the tide schedule matches ours.

Many people travel around the world in search of that perfect spot where they can ride to work on their riding skills. So now let us get through the list of surfing destinations that we shouldn’t miss if surfing is our passion.

1. Banzai Pipeline, Hawaii – is referred to as ‘seven-mile miracle’. It covers the coastline of the north shore and brings out 26 top-notch surf breaks. It is known for its dangerous and unforgiving waters that attract many experienced riders. It is the place where the Surfing Professionals Worlds Tour finishes off every year.


2. Waikiki, Hawaii – offers warm waters with waves rolling that make the ride long. However, it is now coming across fresh favour from visitors simply wanting sultry and tropical beach holiday.
It has slow breaking waves that are perfect for any surfer May, June, September and October.


3. Hossegor, France – has the US East Coast and California, it is forty minutes north to Biarritz. It has dunes and cozy warm beaches and is known as the heartland of European surfing.
We can enjoy longboarding with the variety of coastlines that has frequent swells from offshore winds. It is also the perfect place for summer vacation with calmer waters and fewer tourists around.


4. Tofino, Vancouver Island, Canada – is a sleepy but magical town and is the best place to visit during the fall through spring. This surfing town is one of the best-surfing destinations in the world. It gives us the experience of calm, small waves in the sheltered bay, along with the breathtaking rocky coastline on every side.

5. Safi, Morocco – is situated on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. The biggest wave in Safi is where the massive winds whip up the water, for the powerful forces that make the best waves on the planet.

Its waves break on lovely beaches outfitted by welcoming and warm locals which makes it world-famous.

6. Nazare, Portugal –  was a spot where fathers would remind their youngsters to avoid because of the big waves that crashed against the nearby cliffs. It was until Garrett McNamara, a surfer from Hawaii who held the world record for the highest wave ever surfed.


7. Ulu Watu, Bali – along with famous Hindu temples, Bali also has professional-grade waves. Ulu Watu is located at the southwestern tip of the Bukit Peninsula; it is beneath the iconic 11th century Hindu temple. 5 amazing spots of Ulu Watu that we should try are the Peak, Racetrack, Outside Corner, Temples and the Bombie.


8. Cloud Nine, Siargao Island, Philippines – It is one of the most famous islands in the Philippines alongside Malapascua island, Boracay and Luzon but it is also one of the best surfing spots. 9. Lagos, Portugal – is one of the best holiday spots but also gives incredible surfing experience. During high tide, waves go a little soft but during low tides, it speeds up and can be a boundless ripper of waves.
